"Tea House"

Available at Auction

The trees are bare now and I can see this charming tea house across the creek.

The painting is on an 1/8" thick canvas panel and will look great on an easel, tucked in a bookshelf, or framed. Please note that the painting will need to dry and then be varnished. It may take 30-45 days before shipment.

"Heart Number 3"... I feel the presence of figures ... the texture reflects "living" ... lines and scratches like life ... warm colors and rich texture ... the feeling is full and the parts of the painting are snug with each other.

Thought you might like to see the setup, my palette and the finished painting of "Two Pears" ... It found a home in Santa Rosa, California.

Wet and rainy here in the San Francisco Bay Area ... good day for painting!!!

I am dedicating 2017 to painting daily -- or as close to it as possible. I am working on two series:

:: STILL LIFE -- small oil paintings on panels -- paintings from life with a "painterly realistic" style. I paint treasures from my past that I love, items from my daily life, and new goodies that I discover.

:: HEARTS -- small oil paintings on panels and mixed media works on paper -- a positive response to our treacherous, cruel, and devisive presidential regime.
